All these indie developers are wasting their time developing faux retro games for the PC laden heavy with nostalgia. I am very keen, however, on seeing new games made for older platforms. I am sort of a purist in that regard when opportunity permits. I mean, Sonic the Hedgehog will never be better than it is on the Genesis because it was designed for that system, so it should be played on that platform. Now that it works the idea is to fork out the sprite from bitmap loading routine and turn it into a tool that can be used to generate a series of easier to load sprite files from a bitmap. Once i get enough money to upgrade my graphics card any visual bugs should clear up and it will help some with the speed but not by much. I can play a few other silly games like Celebrity Deathmatch obviously as those are the easiest games to emulate with an older processor.Дesmume runs great, I've only had a problem with Yu-gi-oh championship 2010 so far, It's really funny because championship 2011 ran amazingly well from start to finish.

I can play a few Wii games but I've not really been interested in Wii, I've tested Punch Out! on Dolphin and i got about 20 to 30 fps with stuttering and slowness in menu's but decent in fights where it counts so it's an overall enjoyable experience.ДЇor PS2 i can only play P3 and P4, And a bunch of other assorted RPG's because RPG's don't push the processor too hard except in battles so it's mostly smooth sailing. Indeed a strong processor makes emulation so smooth, Unfortunately after my other computer died beyond repair (fucking laptops), I don't currently have the money for a stronger PC so I'm stuck with this old Pentium Dual Core 2.8ghz, it can handle playing games such as Wind Waker at a solid 30 FPS with no visible stuttering, Small areas in the game stutter such as heavy forested areas and other places with a ton of entity data pushing my processor too hard.
